Please note: If you are a home owner, a resident in an almshouse, or a tenant on a 6 months Assured Shorthold Tenancy who has paid a deposit, this policy/ section may not apply to you.
We will need to visit you in your home from time to time in order to comply with our Service Standards. The following visits are essential to comply with your tenancy agreement.
Follow Up Contact
All our new tenants will be contacted within the first 4 weeks of their tenancy commencing. We will either ring you or make an appointment to visit. We will be asking you a few questions to make sure that you have settled in and to discuss any problems or advise you if you need any assistance.
Tenancy Review Visit
This will take place after you have been in your property for approximately nine months. The purpose of this visit is to review your Starter Tenancy and to discuss any tenancy issues you may have. At this visit we will also need to carry out a tenancy fraud check and property inspection.
We may also visit you periodically for reasons to do with your tenancy, the neighbourhood and any other issues as necessary.
If you would like to see your Estate Officer for any reason and are unable to get into the office they will visit you at your home at a time to suit you.
