Both flats are situated on the first floor and accessible via stairs or lift. They have fully fitted Age Friendly kitchens and one flat has a level access shower.
Communal lounge, kitchen, laundry, gym, gardens and relaxation room. All accessed via a secure door entry system and wheelchair accessible. 

Ashiana is staffed by a Scheme Manager and a Support Worker. The Scheme Manager will maintain contact with customers throughout the week to check on their wellbeing. At weekend and out of hours, customers can contact our 24 hour emergency r4esponse service SMART through the Tunstall system. The Scheme Managers role is to enable customers to maintain full and independent lives in their own homes. The Scheme Manager and Support Worker can help to signpost customers to the appropriate services for care and assistance. 

Criteria:

Ashiana provides supported accommodation for Asian people aged 60+ years in a culturally appropriate environment.
If applicants are under 60 years old they need to be in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or a Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
